Recently, local stylist Kristin Matoba-Smith styled the Summer Collection Catalog for TUK Shoes. She was wonderful enough to use a few JG items, like the Ella's Day at the Races Dress on the cover, and the Urban Safari Petal Skirt. Thanks Kristen, and TUK Shoes designer Mark Smith for all the love! JG Editorials:::Sylist Beth Jones
One of my favorite style bloggers is Beth Jones. I have been adoring her styling tips and quirky-chic inspirations since she ran her first successful blog, The Vintage Society. Since then, Beth has been busy working as Quicksilver's Online Fashion Specialist, and began her own Styling Company, which is accompanied by the loveliest style blog. B Jones Style is full of genius tricks and tips to look amazing every day! I was so excited when Beth used my Leather Feather Earrings in the most delicious Summer Editorial! Take a look at how she styled JG good into this coveted shoot.

On Set:::J*Star featured in Phaero Music Video
While styling the incomparable Phaero debut music video ARTificialSEXdrunk, I was lucky enough to work with the incredibly cool J*Star. This San Diego based female rapper/hip hop artist is not only talented and sincere, but also incredibly driven. J was great on set, giving us room to handle our business and then busting out with on-point style while performing her segments.
J is extremely professional. Her scenes were intense, to say the least, but she didn't even break a sweat under all the hot lights and people. J*Star's energy is incredibly raw and we had a blast on even her follow up shots.
Keep an eye out for this emerging young artist; make sure you check out her next show and I'll see you there!

On Set:::Styling the Phaero Music Video Shoot
Southern California is simply teeming with creative talent and drive. I've recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with one of San Diego's most promising solo artist, Phaero. It would be unfair to corner him into the genre of electronica, but Phaero's base/beat happy in-your-face-pop music will keep you dancing the night away.
Michael Frederick Ahmad is the classically trained genius behind the image. In addition to being ridiculously handsome, he is also incredibly intelligent and kind. And that's before we even begin to speak about his multifaceted talents. Make sure to take a look at his performance art when you visit his site!
With the help of the amazing and unstoppable Mahal Style, we recently shot his debut music video, ARTificialSEXdrunk. Listen and purchase his album here!
A lot of beauty, creativity and talent really came together for this video, and I want to thank all of the gorgeous people involved for all of their help! The shoot was a complete success, and happened to be extremely fun. In the spirit of Phaero, the ARTificialSEXdrunk video was lewd, crude, and extremely naughty while representing (with dignity) the irony of the doomed world of beauty and glamour. I had a complete blast styling everyone (somewhat, anyway; there was a lot of delicious dancer/actor flesh left uncovered), decorating the set, and giving common directions like, "Don't be afraid to use a little tongue", or "Grab harder, the flesh needs to ripple".
Here are some sneak peaks at what we were up to on this warm and depraved day. Enjoy and keep an eye out for the debut of Phaero's cutting edge video, ARTificialSEXdrunk.
